The sounds and colors faded from his eyes, as he passed out.

He recalls several times that he woke up in some building, but often too short to identify where he was.

According to a physician, he was at the Healer's for three weeks, under intensive care, to mend his wounds and heal him fully.

Another week passes, and Baruk begins to remember more of this dreadful day, slowly sinking into a depression.

When he was able to walk again, he slowly started to head for the pits in Jhelom, learning the ways of several weapons.

Yet his preferred weapon, the one he showed fastest learning with was the bow, so he decided to learn this weapon.

Several months passed, and his strengths returned to him.
